Maine InfoNet Library System (MILS)
The Bethel Library’s online catalog, MILS, allows cardholders to search for and request books and other library materials. To learn more about using MILS check out this helpful video.

MILS is a shared library system that brings together over 30 libraries from across the state. If the Bethel Library doesn’t have a book, another library most likely will! Materials can be requested and then delivered to the Bethel Library. Patrons can receive notification via email or phone call when materials are ready to be picked up.
Maine Reciprocal Borrowing Program
The Bethel Library is an active participant in the Maine Reciprocal Borrowing Program.
This program allows patrons to utilize their Bethel Library card to borrow materials from other participating libraries.
It is important to note that borrowing privileges are limited to physical materials and do not extend to services such as ebooks, online databases, or museum passes.
Furthermore, patrons from participating libraries may also borrow materials from the Bethel Library using their home library card, provided that all library cards are current and in good standing.
cloudLibrary is an application the Bethel Library uses to offer patrons access to eBooks and audiobooks.
Patrons need a current Bethel Library card and password to access cloudLibrary.
